Centred Set church prayer maps

Praying over scripture

I will be putting out some prayer maps linked directly to scripture over the coming weeks to coincide with half an hour of prayer that my small group will be included as part of their weekly meetings. This particular verse is the focus of the final session of the Centred-Set Church resources by the Jesus Collective. The centred-set approach is a fascinating way of examining the way we welcome people into our church but still maintain beliefs that people may firmly disagree with.

The map is based on Mark 1:14-20 where Jesus calls his disciples to follow him. As always, the aim is to provide prompts into prayer rather than a set of words to be read and ponder over. The aim is to move away from a one sided monologue towards a conversation with God in which we are open to the Holy Spirit guiding and transforming us. Pop over to the prayer map page to see them as they appear.
