32. St Andrew’s Church & Grace Church
Two churches meet here. An Anglican church and Grace Church.
We give thanks for the active work in our local community carried out by these churches in the name of Christ and how they teach of the love and forgiveness that comes from following Jesus.
We give thanks for the people leading and serving in the church today. We know that true leadership comes from pointing people to Jesus and true service is an outpouring of God’s love. We pray for the prayer event being held by Grace Church at Bromsgrove Baptist Church on Tuesday as part of the Global Week of Prayer.
We meditate on your word from Colossians 2: 6-7 (NLT):
And now, just as you accepted Christ Jesus as your Lord, you
must continue to follow him. Let your roots grow down into him,
and let your lives be built on him. Then your faith will grow strong in
the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness.
Amen
