41. St Godwald’s Church

The original church was built in1773 in the churchyard but was rebuild here in 1883 by John Cotton. We give thanks for the generations of people in Bromsgrove that have taught of the love and forgiveness that comes from following Jesus.

We give thanks for the people leading and serving in the church today. We know that true leadership comes from pointing people to Jesus and true service is an outpouring of God’s love. 

We meditate on your word from Colossians 2: 6-7 (NLT):

And now, just as you accepted Christ Jesus as your Lord, you

must continue to follow him. Let your roots grow down into him,

and let your lives be built on him. Then your faith will grow strong in

the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness.
