42. Aston Fields Middle School
Aston Fields Middle School opened in 1969 and currently has around 600 pupils in the 9-13 age range (school years 5-8). Children start at the school in year 5. In 2024, it was rated as ‘outstanding’ in all areas. The main feeder schools are Finstall at Charford but the school takes children from St. Peter's, Stoke Prior and Hanbury as well as many other primary and first schools.
As well as teachers, teaching assistants, librarians, cleaners, caretakers, cleaners, lunchtime supervisors, cooks, technicians and office staff, many more people work here. We give thanks for them all.
Pray for new pupils and staff starting in September that they would settle in well and make new friends.
Pray for the student teachers who are doing their placements with AFMS in key stage 2 (years 5 and 6) during this year, for good learning opportunities and time to spend with their mentors.
Pray for those individual staff and pupils who are facing challenging family situations such as illness and financial difficulties.
